Pambassadors @ Zoo Madrid - June 2012
I visited Zoo Madrid on June 10 & 11, 2012 with my fellow Pambassador Ashley Robertson from the United States of America, who was on holiday in Europe.

Madrid has normally a good climate for pandas, only in the summer it is quite hot. For this reason all pandas have access to the pagoda, which has climate control.
Po & De De were born on September 7, 2010. On that same day a shortlist of 60 Pambassador candidates was released, so it will always stay a day to remember for the lucky 12 who finally received their tickets to travel to Chengdu.
As the twins still keep growing, you can hardly see the difference in size between mother panda and her cubs. Po & De De are still doing fine with Hua Zui Ba, for this reason Zoo Madrid is still not thinking about weaning them.
Bing Xing is also doing great and enjoying the green gardens of Zoo Madrid…
As you remember I have won a Zoo Madrid Photo Contest with a picture of De De.
The winning pictures were now displayed at Zoo Madrid’s Aquarium.
I felt really honored to show my winning picture to my friend and amazingly talented photographer Ashley.
