Ji Li settling in @ Xiamen Haicang Safari Park
Ji Li, born at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding moved to Xiamen Haicang Safari Park on December 31, 2011. The daughter of Cheng Ji & Lin Lin will live in Xiamen for 3 years. She has been settling in for a month and it looks like she loves a mango tree in her new enclosure. Here are some pictures taken by Leouu.
In her blog post Leouu makes a clear message to zoo visitors. A message that I also want to give to all zoo visitors around the world. When you visit a zoo: Don’t throw food or trash to pandas or other animals! Zoos want to educate people about animals. This kind of human behavior is not acceptable! Ji Li agrees on this. A visitor threw something in her enclosure, she looked at it, but didn’t eat it. She receives her daily bamboo and that’s the only food she needs!
