After years of mounting excitement, Kai Kai and Jia Jia will arrive in Singapore in 2012. It is expected that they arrive in March.
The cuddly duo from China have been eagerly awaited since 2009 when their loan to Singapore to mark 20 years of diplomatic ties was flagged.
People can get to see them at the upcoming River Safari in Mandai, a $160 million river-themed animal attraction by Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS), which runs Singapore Zoo.
The black-and-white beauties will be kept in a 1,600 sq m enclosure, the size of a small bungalow. But the public will have to wait till October, when the entire River Safari opens, to see them.
