Fu Bao is ready to return home
Fu Bao is ready for a new stage in his life. The young panda of 55 kilogram will leave his birth place Tiergarten Schönbrunn / Zoo Vienna and return to China on November 6.
Yang Yang & Long Hui’s third son will fly with Austrian Airlines to Amsterdam, from where he will fly to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. The final destination will be the Du Jiang Yan Base of CCRCGP, where he will spent a month in quarantaine.
Curator Eveline Dungl, Panda Keeper Renate Haider and Veterinarian Thomas Voracek will travel with Fu Bao to China.
Fu Bao received the same travel-training as his older brothers Fu Long and Fu Hu, who already live in China.
