Farewell Ceremony for Huan Huan & Yuan Zi in Chengdu
A Farewell Ceremony was held for Huan Huan & Yuan Zi at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on January 14, 2012. The panda pair will move to ZooParc de Beauval, Saint-Aignan, France on January 15, 2012.
Officials from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, ZooParc de Beauval, the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens, the Sichuan Forestry Bureau, the Ministry of Forestry and many other officials attended the ceremony.

The French consul in Sichuan and ZooParc de Beauval’s Director of Education & Communication Delphine Delord explained how happy they are with the pandas who will move to France!
