Tao Tao becomes one year old

Tao Tao celebrated its first birthday on August 3, 2011. Weighing about 25 kilograms and developing normally, Tao Tao’s condition was much better than other baby pandas in captivity, especially in wild survival skills such as climbing, finding food and water, and figuring out directions. Growing up in Hetaopin Training Field of Wolong National Nature Reserve, Tao Tao experienced mudslides, blizzards and rainstorms. Therefore, he could adapt well to the environment of the training field.
