Ya Lao Er gave birth to a cub at the Chongqing Zoo on August 23, 2013.
Ya Lao Er (sometimes called Ya Ya) lives with the cub, which is in a good health, at the delivery room of the zoo. They are monitored 24hours a day. The gender of the cub is still unknown.
The cub’s father is Ling Ling.
