Xi Nier gives birth to a cub @ CCRCGP

CCRCGP Ya'an Bi Feng Xia Base
On July 13, 2013, Xin Nier gave birth to a female cub at the Ya’an Bi Feng Xia Base of CCRCGP. Being a first-time mother it took her a little while to bring the cub into her arms and after 4 to 5 minutes, she finally managed to do so, and her cub remains with her. She and her cub will be closely watched over the next few months so see whether they could become a part of the Hetaoping return to wild program.
Xin Nier mated naturally with Lu Lu this spring and was also artificially inseminated.
