Hai Zi gives birth to twins @ CCRCGP

Hai Zi gave birth to twins at the Ya’an Bi Feng Xia Base of CCRCGP on June 22, 2013. The first born cub is with Hai Zi, the second born cub is a female is taken care off by the CCRCGP staff. Hai Zi, a wildborn female, mated earlier this year with wildborn males Bai Yang and Yi Bao.
Hai Zi is the second panda to give birth this year in Bi Feng Xia. Zhen Zhen, born at the San Diego Zoo, gave birth to a stillborn cub already on May 4, 2013.
