Fu Wa gives birth at Chengdu Panda Base

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
Fu Wa, also known as Mao Mao, has given birth to a female cub at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on August 1, 2011 at 5:07 AM. The cub was weighing 170 grams at birth and is in good health.
Mao Mao was not very successful at caring for her first born cub in 2008, but she is successful now, she became a competent mother.
