Po & De De debuted outside with Queen Sofia
Zoo Madrid’s panda cubs Po & De De debuted outside today.
Queen Sofia of Spain visited the cubs again on this special day.
The young pandas are now seven months old and were ready to enjoy the nice Spring weather.
Queen Sofia visited the cubs already on November 5, 2010. She shows much interest in giant pandas and in the natural world in general.
Po & De De were born on September 7, 2010 as a result of artificial insemination. Breeding experts from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding performed the AI together with the staff of Zoo Madrid.
